Yes, your phone must be carrier-unlocked to install a new eSIM. Most phones bought directly from the manufacturer (Apple, Google, Samsung) are unlocked by default. If you bought your phone from a carrier on contract, contact them to request an unlock — most will do this free of charge once you've completed your contract period.

No. Each QR code can only be scanned once. Once the eSIM profile is installed on your device, the QR code becomes invalid for re-use. If you accidentally delete the eSIM from your device before the plan expires, please contact our support team and we'll help you get back online.

It depends on the plan. Country-specific plans only work in the destination listed. If you're visiting multiple countries, choose a regional plan (e.g. "Europe eSIM" or "Asia eSIM") or a global plan that covers all your destinations. Each plan's coverage page lists exactly which countries are included.

You can check your data balance through your phone's Settings → Mobile/Cellular Data → your eSIM plan. Some operators also provide a balance check via USSD code, which will be included in your setup instructions email. Your data plan page in your order history also shows real-time usage on supported plans.
